🇲🇽墨西哥(Mexico)🇦🇫阿富汗(Afghanistan)MX-AF 墨西哥(Mexico) 前往 阿富汗(Afghanistan) 签证要求
Mexican ordinary passport holders need a visa for Afghanistan, but since March 2026 they can apply online for a single-entry tourist e-Visa through the official E-Afghans portal instead of visiting an embassy. The e-Visa allows a stay of up to 30 days, costs about USD 131.71 in total fees, and may currently only be used to enter through Kabul International Airport. Afghanistan does not grant visa-free entry to any nationality, so a Mexican passport holder requires a visa for tourism. As of March 2026, the Taliban-led government launched an online e-Visa system through the official E-Afghans portal (eafghans.com), removing the previous need for an embassy application and a local letter of invitation. Mexican citizens are eligible under the standard process. The e-Visa is single-entry, permits a stay of up to 30 days, and must be used within 90 days of issuance. Applicants pay an USD 8 application fee upfront and, once approved, a USD 120 visa fee plus a USD 3.71 payment-processing fee (about USD 131.71 total). Standard processing runs roughly 1-3 weeks, with express same-day options reported. Crucially, the e-Visa is currently valid only for arrivals through Kabul International Airport; travelers entering by land or other airports still need a traditional embassy visa. Afghanistan is not in the Schengen area, so Schengen 90/180 and ETIAS rules do not apply. Travelers should be aware that most foreign governments maintain "Do Not Travel" (Level 4) advisories for Afghanistan due to security, terrorism, and detention risks, and strict local laws apply (dress codes, photography limits, drones prohibited). Passports showing Israeli stamps may face scrutiny.
