🇰🇷韩国(South Korea)🇷🇼卢旺达(Rwanda)KR-RW 韩国(South Korea) 前往 卢旺达(Rwanda) 签证要求
South Korean ordinary passport holders can get a visa on arrival in Rwanda. Since 1 January 2018, Rwanda grants visa on arrival to citizens of all countries with no prior application required. South Korea is not on Rwanda's free-visa list, so a paid V1 visitor visa applies: USD 50 for single entry (30 days) or USD 70 for multiple entry (90 days). You may also apply online in advance via the Irembo portal. A South Korea passport holder traveling to Rwanda for tourism does not need a visa before departure but does need to pay for a visitor (V1) visa. Rwanda is one of the most open countries in Africa: since 1 January 2018 it grants visa on arrival to citizens of every nationality without prior application, and since 2019 it also offers an eVisa online via Irembo. South Korea is not among the nationalities entitled to a free or visa-exempt entry (those are mainly African Union, Commonwealth and La Francophonie member states, plus a specific list of 90-day fee-free countries such as Singapore, Indonesia, the Philippines and Qatar). Therefore a South Korean tourist pays the standard V1 fee: USD 50 for a single-entry 30-day visa or USD 70 for a multiple-entry 90-day visa. The cleanest route is to simply arrive at Kigali International Airport and obtain the visa on arrival, paying at the immigration counter; alternatively the visa can be applied for and paid online via Irembo before travel. Rwanda is not in the Schengen area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply. Requirements include a passport valid for at least six months with at least one blank page and proof of onward travel. This guidance is verified against the Rwanda Directorate General of Immigration and Emigration and the Irembo government portal as of 2026-05-30.
