🇰🇷韩国(South Korea)🇷🇺俄罗斯(Russian Federation)KR-RU 韩国(South Korea) 前往 俄罗斯(Russian Federation) 签证要求
South Korean ordinary passport holders can visit Russia visa-free for tourism under a bilateral agreement in force since 2014: up to 60 days per stay and a maximum of 90 days within any 180-day period. No visa or eVisa is needed, but since June 30, 2025 visa-free visitors must register in the free "ruID" mobile app and obtain a digital entry authorization at least 72 hours before arrival. Russia and South Korea signed a mutual visa-waiver agreement that entered into force on January 1, 2014. Under it, holders of ordinary South Korean passports may enter Russia without a visa for tourism, business or transit and stay up to 60 days per entry, subject to a cumulative cap of 90 days within any rolling 180-day period. The passport should generally be valid for at least 6 months. Because South Korea enjoys this broader bilateral visa-free regime, it is NOT among the ~64 nationalities eligible for Russia's unified electronic visa (eVisa) — and there is no need for one. The one major recent change is administrative, not a visa: effective June 30, 2025 (a pilot running through June 30, 2026), all visa-free foreign travelers must pre-register biometric and trip data in the free "ruID" app and receive a digital entry authorization at least 72 hours before arrival; the authorization is valid for 90 days. Travelers should also note South Korean government travel bans on regions near the Ukrainian border (and Kursk Oblast), which restrict where citizens may legally go. Verdict: visa-free for short tourist stays.
