韩国(South Korea) 前往 罗马尼亚(Romania) 签证要求

South Korean ordinary passport holders do NOT need a visa for tourist trips to Romania. They can enter visa-free and stay up to 90 days within any 180-day period. Romania became a full member of the Schengen Area on 1 January 2025, so the Schengen 90/180 short-stay rule now applies. No visa or fee is charged. Once the EU's ETIAS travel authorization launches (expected late 2026, mandatory around 2027), South Korean travelers will need a one-time ETIAS approval (EUR 20) before travel, but that is not yet required as of mid-2026. Romania is an EU member state and, since 1 January 2025, a full member of the Schengen Area (land border controls were lifted on that date; air and sea controls had already ended on 31 March 2024). South Korea is on the EU's Schengen visa-exemption list, so holders of an ordinary South Korean passport may enter Romania for tourism, business, or family visits without a visa. The stay is capped at 90 days within any rolling 180-day period, and because Romania is now in Schengen, days spent in Romania count toward the same 90/180 allowance shared across all 29 Schengen countries. Travelers should carry a passport valid for at least three months beyond the intended departure date and issued within the previous 10 years, plus evidence of accommodation, sufficient funds, and onward/return travel. Border officers may request these at entry. The EU's Entry/Exit System (EES) began phased rollout in late 2025, recording biometric data at external Schengen borders. The European Travel Information and Authorisation System (ETIAS) is expected to become operational in the final quarter of 2026, followed by a transitional period; it is anticipated to become mandatory only around 2027. ETIAS is not a visa but an electronic pre-travel authorization (EUR 20, valid 3 years) that visa-exempt nationals, including South Koreans, will need to obtain online before traveling. As of 1 June 2026 no visa and no ETIAS is required for short Romanian tourist stays.
