🇰🇷韩国(South Korea)🇵🇬巴布亚新几内亚(Papua New Guinea)KR-PG 韩国(South Korea) 前往 巴布亚新几内亚(Papua New Guinea) 签证要求
South Korean ordinary passport holders need an eVisa to visit Papua New Guinea for tourism. Apply online through the PNG Immigration & Citizenship Authority (ICA) eVisa portal before you travel. The Tourist (Visitor) eVisa allows a single-entry stay of up to 60 days, with a lodging fee of USD 50. Visa-on-arrival is not available to South Korean nationals. As of 2026, a South Korea (KR) ordinary passport holder cannot enter Papua New Guinea visa-free or via visa-on-arrival for tourism. PNG's visa-on-arrival facility at Port Moresby (Jacksons International Airport) is restricted to a small set of nationalities (Japan, Israel, Indonesia, China, and Melanesian Spearhead Group members); South Korea is not on that list. PNG and South Korea signed a visa-exemption agreement on 29 May 2023, but it covers only diplomatic and official passport holders and has not yet entered into force, so it does not benefit ordinary tourist travelers. The correct channel for an ordinary KR passport is the online Tourist/Visitor eVisa, issued by the PNG Immigration & Citizenship Authority (ICA). It grants a single-entry stay of up to 60 days from the date of arrival, carries a USD 50 lodging fee, and is typically processed within a few days (often under a week). The passport must be valid for at least 6 months. Papua New Guinea is not part of the Schengen area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply. Because no confirmed visa-free or visa-on-arrival channel exists for KR ordinary passports, the conservative and accurate verdict is eVisa required.
