🇯🇵日本(Japan)🇹🇳突尼斯(Tunisia)JP-TN 日本(Japan) 前往 突尼斯(Tunisia) 签证要求
Japanese ordinary passport holders do NOT need a visa for Tunisia. You can enter visa-free for tourism and stay up to 90 days (3 months) per visit. Tunisia grants visa-free entry to holders of Japanese ordinary passports for short stays. Under a long-standing bilateral arrangement (in force since 14 June 1956), Japanese nationals may visit Tunisia for tourism, business or visiting friends/relatives for up to 3 months (90 days) per entry without obtaining a visa in advance and without a visa on arrival or eVisa. Tunisia is in North Africa and is NOT part of the Schengen Area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply. Japan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs advises that the passport should be valid for the intended length of stay plus an additional 3 months at the time of entry. For stays beyond 3 months, or for work/study/residence, travelers must apply for a residence permit (carte de sejour) after arrival or obtain the appropriate long-stay visa. At immigration, travelers should be ready to show an onward/return ticket, proof of sufficient funds and accommodation details. This verdict was verified against the Wikipedia summary of Tunisia's visa policy and Japan MOFA-derived guidance for the Tunisia route.
