🇯🇵日本(Japan)🇸🇳塞内加尔(Senegal)JP-SN 日本(Japan) 前往 塞内加尔(Senegal) 签证要求
Japanese ordinary passport holders do NOT need a visa for Senegal. They can enter visa-free for tourism and stay up to 90 days. A passport valid for at least 6 months, a return/onward ticket, and a yellow fever vaccination certificate are required on arrival. Senegal exempts Japanese ordinary passport holders from visa requirements for short visits, a policy in place since Senegal scrapped its short-stay visa for most nationalities in 2015. Japanese citizens may enter for tourism and stay up to 90 days without any prior visa, eVisa, or visa-on-arrival formality. On arrival, travelers must present a passport valid for at least six months, evidence of onward or return travel, and a valid yellow fever vaccination certificate (carte jaune), which is mandatory for entry into Senegal. Note a pending policy development: on 30 July 2025 Senegal's Council of Ministers adopted, in principle, a reciprocal electronic visa for nationals of countries that require visas of Senegalese citizens. Because Japan does require visas of Senegalese nationals, Japan could in future be brought into this eVisa scheme. However, as of June 2026 the measure has not been implemented, no launch date, fee, or eligible-country list has been published, and Japan remains visa-exempt in current official and IATA-aligned guidance. Travelers should re-check shortly before departure in case the reciprocal eVisa enters force.
