日本(Japan) 前往 斯洛文尼亚(Slovenia) 签证要求

Japanese ordinary passport holders do NOT need a visa for short tourist stays in Slovenia. Slovenia is in the Schengen Area, where Japan has visa-free access for up to 90 days within any 180-day period. As of 2026-06-01, no advance authorization is needed; ETIAS is not yet operational (expected late 2026). Slovenia is a full member of the Schengen Area (since December 2007). Holders of an ordinary Japanese passport may enter Slovenia and the wider Schengen Area without a visa for tourism, business, family visits or transit, for a maximum of 90 days in any rolling 180-day period. This 90/180 allowance is shared across ALL Schengen countries combined, not counted per country. No visa application, fee, or pre-travel form is required at present. Travelers simply present a valid passport at the external Schengen border and receive an entry record. Two changes are reshaping Schengen entry: the Entry/Exit System (EES), a biometric border-registration system rolling out from late 2025 into 2026 that replaces manual passport stamping with facial-image and fingerprint capture; and ETIAS, a forthcoming electronic travel authorization (similar to the US ESTA) that visa-exempt nationals such as Japanese citizens will need. ETIAS is expected to become required in the last quarter of 2026 and is NOT yet mandatory as of this writing, so a Japanese tourist traveling now needs only a valid passport. When ETIAS launches it will cost EUR 7 (waived for applicants under 18 or over 70) and remain valid for up to three years or until the passport expires. Passport should be valid for at least three months beyond the intended departure date and issued within the previous 10 years.
