🇯🇵日本(Japan)🇵🇪秘鲁(Peru)JP-PE 日本(Japan) 前往 秘鲁(Peru) 签证要求
Japanese ordinary passport holders do NOT need a visa to visit Peru for tourism. You can enter visa-free and Peru's immigration authority (Migraciones) grants a tourist stay of up to 183 days per 12-month period (commonly issued in increments, often up to 90 days at the border). No entry fee is charged. Peru is one of the many countries for which Japanese passport holders enjoy visa-free entry for tourism. The exemption is long-standing for tourists; on 1 July 2025 Peru additionally waived the visa requirement for Japanese nationals traveling on business (Supreme Decree No. 020-2025-RE), aligning the business channel with the 183-day annual allowance and coinciding with Japan restoring visa-free entry for Peruvians. For a short tourist trip, a Japanese citizen simply needs a passport valid for the trip (six months' validity strongly recommended), a return or onward ticket, and proof of sufficient funds and accommodation. The immigration officer at the port of entry decides and stamps the authorized number of days; the total permitted tourist stay is capped at 183 days within any rolling 12-month period. There is no eVisa, ETA, or visa-on-arrival process required for tourism, and no entry tax. Travelers should keep the entry stamp / digital entry record (Peru phased out the paper Andean Migration Card, TAM, in favor of an electronic record) as it must be presented or referenced on departure. Peru is in South America and is not part of the Schengen area, so Schengen 90/180 and ETIAS rules do not apply.
