🇯🇵日本(Japan)🇬🇶赤道几内亚(Equatorial Guinea)JP-GQ 日本(Japan) 前往 赤道几内亚(Equatorial Guinea) 签证要求
Japanese ordinary passport holders need an eVisa to visit Equatorial Guinea for tourism. Apply online before travel at the official portal; the visa is single-entry, valid 90 days, and you must enter via Malabo International Airport. Japan is not on Equatorial Guinea's short visa-exemption list, so ordinary Japanese passport holders must obtain a visa before arrival. Since 1 July 2023, Equatorial Guinea operates an electronic visa (eVisa) system open to all nationalities, replacing the older embassy-only process. The tourist eVisa is single-entry, valid for 90 days, and permits a stay of up to 90 days; the standard government processing fee is USD 75 and approval is typically issued within 24-72 hours (allow up to about 5 working days). Applicants complete the form online, upload a passport bio-page scan, a passport photo, proof of accommodation, return/onward ticket, travel medical insurance, and a yellow fever vaccination certificate (an International Certificate of Vaccination for yellow fever is mandatory for entry). The passport must be valid for at least six months beyond the intended departure date with at least two blank pages. eVisa holders must arrive through Malabo International Airport (Saint Isabel/Malabo); the eVisa may not be accepted at other ports of entry. Travelers should print the approved eVisa and carry supporting documents. Equatorial Guinea is in Central Africa and is not part of the Schengen area, so Schengen/ETIAS rules do not apply.
