🇯🇵日本(Japan)🇩🇴多米尼加(Dominican Republic)JP-DO 日本(Japan) 前往 多米尼加(Dominican Republic) 签证要求
Japanese ordinary passport holders do NOT need a visa for tourism in the Dominican Republic. Entry is granted on arrival under a long-standing visa-exemption agreement, normally for up to 30 days (extendable). You must complete the free online E-Ticket before arrival, and Japanese nationals are specifically exempt from the US$10 tourist-card fee. The Dominican Republic grants visa-free entry to Japanese ordinary passport holders for tourism and short visits under a bilateral visa-exemption arrangement that dates back to 1957. No visa, eVisa, or visa-on-arrival is required. The standard visa-free stay is up to 30 days, which can be extended up to 120 days for a fee paid on departure (calculated on a sliding scale). The only mandatory pre-arrival formality is the E-Ticket (Electronic Entry/Exit Form) at eticket.migracion.gob.do, which is free and must be completed before reaching the airline counter. While most nationalities pay a US$10 tourist-card fee, Japan is one of a small group of countries (alongside Argentina, Chile, Israel, South Korea, and Uruguay) explicitly exempted from this charge. Travelers still need a passport valid for at least six months, proof of onward/return travel, accommodation details, and evidence of sufficient funds. The Dominican Republic is NOT in the Schengen area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply. As of mid-2026, no electronic travel authorization (beyond the E-Ticket) has been introduced for the Dominican Republic.
