🇯🇵日本(Japan)🇧🇴玻利维亚(Bolivia)JP-BO 日本(Japan) 前往 玻利维亚(Bolivia) 签证要求
No visa required. Japanese ordinary passport holders enter Bolivia visa-free for tourism, with a total of up to 90 days per calendar year. Japan is on Bolivia's visa-exemption list (Group 1), so an ordinary Japanese passport holder needs no advance visa or visa-on-arrival for tourism. In practice, Bolivian immigration grants a 30-day stamp on arrival; this can be extended twice (30 days each) at a DIGEMIG migration office inside Bolivia, up to a maximum cumulative stay of 90 days per calendar year (1 January to 31 December). The 90-day cap is per calendar year, not per entry, so leaving to Peru or Chile and re-entering does not reset it. You must hold a passport valid for at least six months, be able to show proof of onward/return travel, and complete the mandatory foreigner registration with DIGEMIG online (failure to register incurs a fine). Bolivia is not in the Schengen area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply. Bolivia's December 2025 visa-free expansion (adding the US, South Korea, UAE, Israel and others) did not change Japan's long-standing exemption.
