🇯🇵日本(Japan)🇦🇲亚美尼亚(Armenia)JP-AM 日本(Japan) 前往 亚美尼亚(Armenia) 签证要求
Japanese ordinary passport holders can travel to Armenia visa-free for tourism and stay up to 180 days within any one-year period. No visa, eVisa, or visa-on-arrival is required. Armenia grants Japan a unilateral visa exemption. Holders of an ordinary Japanese passport may enter Armenia without any visa and stay for up to 180 days per calendar year, whether for tourism, business, or visiting friends and relatives. This is confirmed by Armenia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which lists Japan (item 19) among the countries whose citizens with all passport types are unilaterally exempt from visa requirements. Armenia is not part of the Schengen Area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply here. Travelers simply present a valid passport at the border; immigration stamps the entry and no fee is charged. Standard good practice applies: carry a passport valid well beyond the stay (six months recommended), proof of onward or return travel, and evidence of sufficient funds and accommodation. If a traveler intends to stay longer than 180 days, or for purposes such as work or long-term residence, an Armenian visa (available via the official eVisa portal at evisa.mfa.am) or a residence permit would be required instead. For ordinary short tourist visits, no advance paperwork is needed.
