🇮🇹意大利(Italy)🇾🇪也门(Yemen)IT-YE 意大利(Italy) 前往 也门(Yemen) 签证要求
Yes, an Italian passport holder needs a visa to enter Yemen. There is no visa-free, visa-on-arrival, or eVisa channel for ordinary Italian passports; the visa must be obtained in advance from the Yemeni Consulate in Rome before travel. Italy and Yemen have no visa-waiver arrangement, so Italian citizens must obtain an entry visa before traveling to Yemen. Applications are filed in person (or by mail) at the Yemeni Consulate in Rome (Via Antonio Bosio 10, 00161 Rome), and require a completed form, passport photos, a passport valid at least 6 months with two blank pages and no Israeli stamps, plus either a letter from a Yemeni travel/tour operator or a round-trip airline reservation. The visa is normally single-entry, valid two months from issuance, with stay duration (1 to 3 months) set by the airport authority on arrival. Critically, tourist visa issuance has in practice been suspended or sharply restricted, and the Italian Foreign Ministry (Farnesina) lists Yemen among its maximum-alert countries, advising against all travel due to armed conflict and security threats. Yemen is NOT in the Schengen area, so Schengen 90/180 and ETIAS rules do not apply to entering Yemen. Travelers should treat this route as effectively closed to ordinary tourism; the conservative verdict is visa-required.
