🇮🇹意大利(Italy)🇸🇪瑞典(Sweden)IT-SE 意大利(Italy) 前往 瑞典(Sweden) 签证要求
No visa. Italian citizens have EU freedom of movement and can travel to Sweden for tourism with just a valid passport or national ID card, with no time limit on short visits within EU rules. Italy and Sweden are both members of the European Union and the Schengen Area. As an EU citizen, an Italian ordinary passport holder enjoys full freedom of movement and can enter Sweden for tourism or any short visit without a visa, using either a valid Italian passport or a valid national identity card. There is no entry fee, no advance authorization, and no application process. Because Italy is an EU member, the Schengen 90/180-day short-stay limit that applies to non-EU visitors does NOT restrict Italians; an EU citizen may remain in Sweden beyond 90 days, though stays exceeding three months require registering a right of residence (for work, study, self-sufficiency, etc.). Importantly, EU/EEA/Schengen nationals are exempt from ETIAS, the European travel authorization launching in late 2026 — that requirement targets only non-EU visa-exempt travelers (e.g., US, UK, Canada, Australia). Travelers should simply carry a valid government-issued photo ID; while intra-Schengen border checks are usually absent, Sweden has at times reintroduced temporary internal border controls, so carrying valid ID remains essential.
