🇮🇹意大利(Italy)🇷🇴罗马尼亚(Romania)IT-RO 意大利(Italy) 前往 罗马尼亚(Romania) 签证要求
No visa required. As an EU citizen, an Italian passport holder can travel to Romania visa-free for tourism and may stay indefinitely under EU freedom of movement rules. Italy and Romania are both European Union member states, so Italian citizens enjoy full freedom of movement and do not need a visa to visit Romania for tourism, business, or any short stay. Romania also became a full member of the Schengen Area on 1 January 2025 (air and sea borders opened 31 March 2024, land borders 1 January 2025), meaning there are normally no systematic checks at internal borders between Italy and Romania. Italian citizens may enter Romania using either a valid national identity card or a valid passport; no entry or exit stamp is applied. The Schengen 90/180-day short-stay rule and the upcoming ETIAS travel authorisation apply only to non-EU/EEA nationals, so they do NOT apply to Italian citizens, who may remain in Romania for as long as they wish. For stays beyond three months, EU citizens are simply required to register their residence with local authorities, but this is a residence formality, not a visa. There is no fee and no application process for entry.
