🇮🇹意大利(Italy)🇵🇱波兰(Poland)IT-PL 意大利(Italy) 前往 波兰(Poland) 签证要求
No visa. An Italian passport (or national ID card) holder is an EU citizen and can travel to Poland visa-free with no time limit on stay, under EU freedom of movement. Both Italy and Poland are members of the European Union and the Schengen Area. As an EU citizen, an Italian ordinary passport holder enjoys the right of free movement and does NOT need a visa to enter Poland for tourism or any other purpose. Travel is permitted on either a valid Italian passport or a valid Italian national identity card. Because both countries are inside the Schengen Area, there are normally no systematic checks at the internal border, though Polish authorities may carry out spot identity checks. The Schengen 90/180-day short-stay limit does NOT apply to EU citizens — it applies only to visa-exempt non-EU nationals. An Italian citizen may stay in Poland for up to 3 months with no formalities; for stays longer than 90 days the only requirement is to register the stay (obtain an EU citizen registration certificate) for residence purposes, not a visa. ETIAS, the new European Travel Authorisation expected to go live in the last quarter of 2026, does NOT apply to EU citizens; it is required only of visa-exempt non-EU travellers. Therefore Italian passport holders will remain fully exempt from ETIAS. The overall verdict is unambiguously visa-free.
