🇮🇹意大利(Italy)🇲🇿莫桑比克(Mozambique)IT-MZ 意大利(Italy) 前往 莫桑比克(Mozambique) 签证要求
Italian ordinary passport holders do not need a traditional visa for tourism in Mozambique, but since 2026 they must obtain an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) online before departure. Italy is one of 29 visa-exempt countries that now require a pre-travel ETA. Italy is on Mozambique's list of 29 unilaterally visa-exempt countries, so Italian ordinary-passport tourists do not need a consular or e-Visa for a short visit. However, the visa-exemption is no longer "just show up" — Mozambique now requires these travelers to register and obtain an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) before boarding. A new online platform, operated with VFS Global support, relaunched on 11 February 2026, and airlines may deny boarding to travelers without an approved ETA. The ETA is applied for at the official portal evisa.gov.mz, is typically issued within minutes to 48 hours, is valid for about 60 days from issue, and permits a stay of up to 30 days (extendable by another 30 days in-country). On arrival, visa-exempt travelers also pay an administrative fee of MZN 650 (about USD 10). Travelers must carry a passport valid for at least 6 months with blank pages, proof of onward/return travel, and accommodation details. Mozambique is in Southern Africa, not in the Schengen area, so the 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply. Because enforcement details have shifted during 2026, travelers should confirm current status on the official portal shortly before departure.
