🇮🇹意大利(Italy)🇲🇬马达加斯加(Madagascar)IT-MG 意大利(Italy) 前往 马达加斯加(Madagascar) 签证要求
Italian passport holders need a tourist visa for Madagascar, but it is easy to obtain: you can get a visa on arrival at international airports (including Antananarivo-Ivato), or apply for an eVisa online in advance. All nationalities are eligible. An Italian (IT) ordinary passport holder cannot enter Madagascar visa-free, but a visa is granted on arrival at international airports for short tourist stays, with no advance application required. Italy is eligible like nearly all nationalities (only Burundi and Palestine are excluded from the standard visa channels). The visa on arrival is single-entry and issued for stays of up to 90 days. For 15-day stays travelers historically paid only a small tourist fee, but as of 16 February 2026 the eVisa fees were significantly increased (the 15-day eVisa rose from about EUR 10 to EUR 30). Madagascar's authorities indicated that on-arrival visa fees were not part of that increase. Travelers who prefer certainty and want to skip airport queues can apply for the eVisa online (issued within about 72 hours, valid for entry within 6 months). Madagascar is not in the Schengen area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply. Carry proof of onward/return travel, accommodation, and a passport valid at least 6 months with a blank page. Always reconfirm fees at the airport counter or official portal before travel, as Madagascar has adjusted visa pricing repeatedly in 2025-2026.
