🇮🇹意大利(Italy)🇰🇪肯尼亚(Kenya)IT-KE 意大利(Italy) 前往 肯尼亚(Kenya) 签证要求
Italian passport holders need a Kenya Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) before travel. Kenya scrapped traditional visas in 2024, but EU citizens including Italians must still apply online for the eTA. There is no visa-on-arrival and no visa-free channel for Italy. As of June 2026, Italy (ordinary passport) travelers to Kenya for tourism require an approved Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) obtained online before departure. In January 2024 Kenya abolished traditional visas and replaced them with the mandatory eTA for almost all foreign visitors. A major 2025 reform (effective around 30 May 2025) removed the eTA requirement for most African nationals (except Somalia and Libya) and East African Community members, but this exemption does NOT extend to EU citizens. Italian nationals must therefore apply for the eTA through the official portal etakenya.go.ke. The standard tourist eTA costs about USD 32.50 plus a small bank fee (total around USD 34), is single-entry, remains valid for 90 days from issue for entry, and permits a stay of up to 90 days as granted by the immigration officer on arrival. Official processing is up to 3 working days, but applicants are advised to apply at least 7 days (ideally 2 weeks) before travel. A passport valid 6+ months with a blank page is required, along with proof of onward/return travel and accommodation. Kenya is in East Africa and not part of the Schengen area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply.
