🇮🇹意大利(Italy)🇮🇸冰岛(Iceland)IT-IS 意大利(Italy) 前往 冰岛(Iceland) 签证要求
Italian passport holders do not need a visa to visit Iceland. As EU citizens, Italians enjoy full EU/EEA freedom of movement and can enter Iceland for tourism with just a valid passport or national ID card, with no time limit and no ETIAS or visa required. Italy is a member of the European Union and Iceland is a member of the EEA/EFTA and the Schengen Area. Under EU/EEA freedom of movement rules, Italian citizens have the right to travel to, enter, and stay in Iceland without any visa. For a short tourist visit, an Italian only needs a valid passport or a valid national identity card; no entry stamp, ETIAS authorisation, or registration is required for short stays. The Schengen 90/180-day short-stay limit and the upcoming ETIAS travel authorisation apply only to non-EU visa-exempt third-country nationals, NOT to EU citizens such as Italians, who instead benefit from the right of free movement. EU citizens are also exempt from the new Entry/Exit System (EES) biometric registration. Registration with Registers Iceland is only relevant if an Italian intends to reside in Iceland for longer than three months, which is beyond the scope of a tourist visit. In short, an Italian tourist can simply board a flight and enter Iceland with no advance paperwork.
