🇮🇹意大利(Italy)🏳格陵兰(Greenland)IT-GL 意大利(Italy) 前往 格陵兰(Greenland) 签证要求
Italian passport holders do not need a visa to visit Greenland for tourism. They may stay visa-free for up to 90 days. A valid passport (not a national ID card) is required. Greenland is part of the Kingdom of Denmark but is NOT in the European Union and NOT in the Schengen Area. It runs its own entry rules. The Danish Immigration Service states plainly: if you are a citizen of a visa-exempt country who can enter Denmark without a visa, you can also enter Greenland without a visa. Italy is an EU member state whose nationals enter Denmark visa-free, so Italian ordinary-passport holders may travel to Greenland visa-free for short tourist stays of up to 90 days. Two important nuances apply. First, a Schengen visa or Schengen entry stamp does NOT cover Greenland; the visa-free entitlement for Italians comes from their nationality, not from any Schengen document. Second, because Greenland is outside Schengen, an Italian national ID card is NOT sufficient - a valid passport must be carried. ETIAS does not apply to Greenland (and in any case ETIAS targets visa-exempt non-EU nationals, not EU citizens). Travelers should carry proof of onward/return travel and sufficient funds, and check that air links (typically via Copenhagen, Denmark, or Iceland, both of which are Schengen transit points where the Schengen 90/180 clock does apply separately) are accounted for in their itinerary.
