🇮🇹意大利(Italy)🇪🇬埃及(Egypt)IT-EG 意大利(Italy) 前往 埃及(Egypt) 签证要求
Italian ordinary passport holders need a visa for Egypt. The simplest route is the official Egypt eVisa (single-entry, ~USD 30), applied for online before travel. A visa on arrival (~USD 30 cash) is also available at airports, and holders of a valid Schengen visa or Schengen residence permit can enter visa-free for up to 30 days. Egypt is not visa-free for Italian citizens, but entry is straightforward. The recommended and most reliable option is the electronic visa (eVisa) issued through Egypt's official portal visa2egypt.gov.eg: a single-entry tourist eVisa costs USD 30, is valid for 90 days from issue, and permits a stay of up to 30 days. Applications should be lodged at least 5-7 days before departure; the passport must be valid for at least 6 months on arrival with two blank pages. Because Italy is an EU/Schengen state, Italians can alternatively buy a visa on arrival at major Egyptian airports (single-entry, USD 30, payable in USD cash following the March 2026 fee increase from USD 25). Italians holding a valid Schengen visa or a Schengen residence permit (valid 6+ months) qualify for free entry for up to 30 days. Travelers visiting only the Sinai resort zone (Sharm El Sheikh, Dahab, Nuweiba, Taba) receive a free entry-permission stamp for up to 14-15 days but cannot leave that zone. Egypt is not in the Schengen area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply to this route.
