🇮🇹意大利(Italy)🇨🇩刚果(金)(Congo (Dem. Rep.))IT-CD 意大利(Italy) 前往 刚果(金)(Congo (Dem. Rep.)) 签证要求
Italian passport holders need a visa to visit the Democratic Republic of the Congo. There is no visa-free or visa-on-arrival channel for tourism. The most practical option is the eVisa applied for online before travel, or a traditional visa from the DRC Embassy in Rome; a yellow fever vaccination certificate is mandatory for entry. A visa is required for Italian (IT) ordinary passport holders traveling to the Democratic Republic of the Congo (CD) for tourism — Italy is not on the DRC's visa-exemption list. The DRC's Direction Générale de Migration (DGM) operates an online eVisa system that was expanded for tourist use in late 2024/early 2025, which is the recommended route for short visits; alternatively a paper visa can be obtained from the DRC Embassy in Rome. The eVisa typically grants a short single-entry tourist stay and must be obtained before arrival — there is no visa-on-arrival for ordinary tourists. Applicants usually need a host/invitation letter addressed to the DGM, proof of accommodation, a return ticket and proof of funds. A valid yellow fever vaccination certificate is a strict, separately enforced entry condition for all travelers aged 9 months and over, and passports must be valid at least 6 months with blank pages. Because the eVisa carries strict vetting and a relatively high rejection rate, travelers should apply 2-3 weeks ahead. Travelers should also check current security and health advisories (including a 2026 Ebola outbreak in Ituri Province) before booking. Default verdict is eVisa, with embassy visa as the fallback.
