🇮🇹意大利(Italy)🇧🇬保加利亚(Bulgaria)IT-BG 意大利(Italy) 前往 保加利亚(Bulgaria) 签证要求
No visa is required. As an EU citizen, an Italian ordinary passport holder can travel to Bulgaria visa-free under EU freedom of movement, for unlimited time, using a valid passport or national ID card. Italy and Bulgaria are both European Union member states, so an Italian ordinary passport holder enjoys full EU freedom of movement and needs no visa to enter Bulgaria for tourism or any short visit. Travel is permitted with either a valid Italian passport or a valid national identity card. Bulgaria became a full member of the Schengen Area on 1 January 2025 (air and sea borders opened 31 March 2024, land borders 1 January 2025), meaning there are normally no systematic identity checks at internal borders between Italy and Bulgaria, though carriers (airlines, ferries) and occasional reinstated controls may still require you to show your document. The Schengen 90/180-day rule and ETIAS apply only to non-EU/visa-exempt third-country nationals and do NOT apply to EU citizens; an Italian can stay indefinitely. There is no stay limit as a visitor, but for any stay longer than three months an EU citizen must register with the local authorities and obtain a residence certificate. There are no entry fees of any kind.
