🇮🇳印度(India)🇸🇱塞拉利昂(Sierra Leone)IN-SL 印度(India) 前往 塞拉利昂(Sierra Leone) 签证要求
Indian passport holders need a visa for Sierra Leone. The recommended route is a single-entry tourist eVisa obtained online before travel at evisa.sl (about USD 80 for non-African Union nationals), allowing a stay of up to 30 days. A visa on arrival is also available at the same fee, but airlines may deny boarding without a pre-arranged visa, so the eVisa is the safer choice. India is not on Sierra Leone's visa-exemption list (which covers ECOWAS states and a small set of waiver countries), so an Indian ordinary passport holder requires a visa. Sierra Leone offers two practical channels for short tourist visits: an online eVisa applied for before departure through the official portal evisa.sl, and a visa on arrival introduced in September 2019 at Freetown's airport and the Jendema and Gbalamuya land borders. Both carry the same fee tier of USD 80 for non-African Union nationals (USD 25 for other AU nationals), are single entry, and permit a stay of up to one month, extendable in-country at the Immigration Department. Because airlines can refuse boarding to travelers without a visa already in hand, the eVisa is the recommended approach: the application is submitted and paid online, and after approval an application ID is issued for the eVisa to be printed at immigration. Required documents include a passport valid at least six months, a passport photo, return/onward ticket, proof of accommodation, and yellow fever vaccination (required for entry to Sierra Leone). Some aggregator sites incorrectly state Indians can enter visa-free; official sources (Sierra Leone Immigration Department and evisa.sl) confirm a visa is required.
