Indian ordinary passport holders need an eVisa to visit Cuba for tourism. The government fee is approximately USD 50, with processing typically within about 72 business hours. Separately, every traveler must complete the free online D'Viajeros declaration within 7 days before arrival (it generates a QR code scanned at immigration) and must hold valid travel medical insurance, a return/onward ticket, proof of accommodation, and proof of funds (about USD 50 per day). Cuba is not part of the Schengen area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply. Because Cuba does not offer a no-visa channel for Indian passports, the correct verdict is eVisa (visa required, obtained electronically before departure).
