Indian ordinary passport holders need a visa for Côte d'Ivoire. The standard route is the e-visa: apply online via the official SNEDAI portal (pre-enrollment), then collect the biometric visa on arrival at Abidjan Félix Houphouët-Boigny International Airport. A yellow fever vaccination certificate is mandatory. There is no visa-free or pure visa-on-arrival access for Indian citizens. Côte d'Ivoire operates an e-visa system run by SNEDAI: travelers complete an online pre-enrollment (passport bio page, return flight booking, hotel reservation or invitation letter, photo) and pay roughly EUR 73 online. Once the pre-authorization is approved (typically within about 48-72 hours), the traveler flies in and the biometric visa is captured and issued on arrival at Abidjan Félix Houphouët-Boigny International Airport, which is the only valid entry point for this visa. The visa is valid for 3 months with multiple entries. An international certificate of vaccination against yellow fever is required for all travelers aged 9 months and older, and the passport must be valid for at least 6 months with blank pages. Travelers must NOT arrive without an approved pre-enrollment, as the airport visa is issued only against the SNEDAI pre-authorization email. Entering via a land border or another airport on this e-visa is not permitted; embassy biometric visas (EUR 50-58) are an alternative for those entry routes.
