🇮🇳印度(India)🇧🇮布隆迪(Burundi)IN-BI 印度(India) 前往 布隆迪(Burundi) 签证要求
Indian ordinary passport holders need a visa for Burundi. The recommended route is the official Burundi e-visa, applied for online before travel via the General Commissariat for Migration (migration.gov.bi). A visa on arrival is also available at Bujumbura airport and land borders, but pre-arranging the e-visa is safer. India is NOT on Burundi's short list of visa-exempt nationalities (only DR Congo, Kenya, Rwanda, South Sudan, Tanzania and Uganda are exempt for ordinary passports). Therefore an Indian ordinary passport holder requires a visa for tourism. Burundi operates an official electronic visa system through the General Commissariat for Migration (CGM) at migration.gov.bi, where applicants upload a passport bio page, photo, yellow-fever certificate and itinerary, with processing typically around 3 working days. The tourist e-visa is commonly issued for a single entry (about USD 40) or multiple entries (about USD 90 for one month), with a maximum stay of roughly 30 days/one month. A visa on arrival is also obtainable at Melchior Ndadaye International Airport and at land borders, but fees on arrival can be higher (reported up to USD 90-100) and approval is not guaranteed, so the e-visa obtained in advance is the recommended, lower-risk option. Burundi is in East Africa and is not part of the Schengen area, so Schengen/ETIAS rules do not apply. A yellow-fever vaccination certificate is required, especially when arriving from or transiting an endemic area. Fees and rules can change, so confirm on the official CGM portal before booking.
