🇮🇱以色列(Israel)🇵🇹葡萄牙(Portugal)IL-PT 以色列(Israel) 前往 葡萄牙(Portugal) 签证要求
Israeli ordinary passport holders do NOT need a visa to visit Portugal for tourism. Israel is on the EU's visa-exempt list (Annex II), so you may enter the Schengen Area for up to 90 days within any 180-day period without a visa. Portugal is a member of the Schengen Area, and Israel is listed in Annex II of EU Regulation 2018/1806 as a visa-exempt third country. This means holders of an ordinary Israeli passport can travel to Portugal and the wider Schengen Area for tourism or business without obtaining a Schengen visa, for short stays of up to 90 days within any rolling 180-day period. No advance authorization is currently required, though as of 10 April 2026 the EU Entry/Exit System (EES) is fully operational and registers biometric data (facial image and fingerprints) at the external border instead of stamping passports. The ETIAS travel authorization (a EUR 20 online pre-screening, not a visa) is NOT yet mandatory; it is expected to launch in Q4 2026 with a transitional grace period extending into 2027, so it is not required for trips taken on 2026-05-30. Travelers must still satisfy standard Schengen entry conditions at the border: a passport valid for at least three months beyond the intended departure and issued within the last 10 years, proof of accommodation and onward/return travel, and sufficient funds. Always verify the latest ETIAS go-live status before travel later in 2026.
