🇮🇱以色列(Israel)🇱🇻拉脱维亚(Latvia)IL-LV 以色列(Israel) 前往 拉脱维亚(Latvia) 签证要求
Israeli ordinary passport holders do NOT need a visa for short tourist stays in Latvia. As an EU/Schengen member, Latvia admits Israeli citizens visa-free for up to 90 days within any 180-day period. Latvia is a member of the European Union and the Schengen Area. Israel is on the EU "visa-free" (Annex II) list, and the Latvian Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirms Israeli ordinary passport holders may enter without a visa for up to 90 days in any rolling 180-day period for tourism, business, family visits or transit. The 90-day allowance is shared across the entire Schengen Area, not Latvia alone. No visa, eVisa or visa-on-arrival is required; entry is granted on arrival subject to standard conditions (valid passport, proof of funds, return/onward ticket, purpose of visit). The EU's ETIAS travel authorisation is NOT yet in force as of June 2026 - it is scheduled to begin operation in the last quarter of 2026 and will not become mandatory until a transitional period in 2027. Once live, eligible Israeli travellers will need to obtain an ETIAS authorisation (a quick online pre-screening, not a visa) before travelling. The EU Entry/Exit System (EES) biometric registration at the external border is being rolled out but does not change the visa-free status. Travellers should monitor official EU channels for the ETIAS start date before any trip in late 2026 or later.
