🇮🇱以色列(Israel)🇱🇰斯里兰卡(Sri Lanka)IL-LK 以色列(Israel) 前往 斯里兰卡(Sri Lanka) 签证要求
Israeli passport holders need a Sri Lanka Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) before flying, but as of 25 May 2026 the tourist ETA is FREE for Israel. It permits a 30-day stay with double entry. Apply online at the official portal eta.gov.lk before departure. As of 2 June 2026, an Israeli ordinary passport holder traveling to Sri Lanka for tourism must obtain an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) before arrival. Sri Lanka is not visa-free in the sense of "no authorization needed" — the ETA remains mandatory — but on 25 May 2026 Sri Lanka added Israel to a list of 40 nationalities for whom the tourist ETA is granted free of charge. The free tourist ETA allows a stay of up to 30 days with double entry (you may exit and re-enter within the original 30-day window, but re-entry does not reset the clock). Apply through the official government portal (eta.gov.lk) before departure; the ETA is normally approved within a couple of days, and many applications are issued within 24-72 hours. Your passport must be valid for at least six months from your date of arrival. Important: only pay (where applicable) or apply through the official eta.gov.lk site — many third-party sites charge service fees on top of the (now zero) government fee. Israelis who need to stay longer than 30 days, or who wish to convert to a longer visit, can extend the tourist visa locally through the Department of Immigration and Emigration in Colombo. The free-ETA policy was approved by Parliament and took effect 25 May 2026; travelers should confirm it remains in force on the official portal at the time of travel, as implementation had been repeatedly delayed before this date.
