Israeli ordinary passport holders need a visa for Cameroon and should obtain it through the official Cameroon e-Visa portal (evisacam.cm) before travel. There is no visa-free or visa-on-arrival entry for tourism. Cameroon requires a visa for almost all foreign nationals, including Israeli ordinary passport holders, and there is no mutual visa-waiver agreement between Israel and Cameroon. Since 2023 Cameroon operates an official online e-Visa system run by the Ministry of External Relations (MINREX) at evisacam.cm (also evisacam.com). Israeli citizens apply online, upload a passport scan and supporting documents, pay by Visa/Mastercard, and receive an electronic short-stay visa. The standard short-stay e-Visa costs 100,000 FCFA (XAF), is valid for up to six months, permits multiple entries, and is processed within about 72 hours (an express option at 150,000 FCFA processes in roughly 24 hours). A pre-approval is issued electronically and the visa is finalized/stamped on arrival at the port of entry. A yellow fever vaccination certificate is mandatory for entry, with the vaccine administered at least 10 days before arrival. Passports must be valid for at least six months with blank pages. There is no visa-on-arrival channel and no ETA/ETIAS scheme (Cameroon is not in the Schengen area). Travelers should apply at least 10 days before departure and use only the official government portal to avoid third-party markups.
