🇮🇩印度尼西亚(Indonesia)🇲🇳蒙古国(Mongolia)ID-MN 印度尼西亚(Indonesia) 前往 蒙古国(Mongolia) 签证要求
Indonesian ordinary passport holders need an eVisa to visit Mongolia for tourism. There is no visa-free entry for ordinary passports; the 30-day waiver only covers Indonesian diplomatic and official passports. Apply online at the official portal evisa.mn before travel. As of 2026, an Indonesia (ID) ordinary passport holder traveling to Mongolia (MN) for tourism must obtain an electronic visa (eVisa) before departure. Mongolia and Indonesia have a bilateral visa-waiver agreement (effective 15 November 2011), but it applies ONLY to diplomatic and official passport holders, who may stay up to 30 days visa-free. Ordinary passport holders are not covered and therefore require a visa. Since 2021 Mongolia operates a centralized eVisa system at evisa.mn, run by the Mongolian Immigration Agency, and Indonesia is among the ~98 nationalities eligible to apply online for a tourist eVisa. The tourist eVisa is single-entry, permits a stay of up to 30 days, and is generally valid for about 150 days from the date of issue (you must enter within that window). The government service fee is approximately USD 50 for a single-entry tourist eVisa, with standard processing of around 3 working days (up to 72 hours); expedited options may be available at extra cost. The passport must be valid for at least 180 days. Travelers should carry a printed copy of the eVisa, and the host (individual, organization, or accommodation provider) must register the foreign national online within 48 hours of arrival. Mongolia is in East/Central Asia and is NOT part of the Schengen area, so Schengen 90/180 rules and ETIAS do not apply. Because the visa-free channel does not extend to ordinary passports, the correct verdict is eVisa.
