Several commercial visa-agency websites incorrectly imply Indonesians can apply for a Kuwait eVisa, but the official Kuwait visa policy enumerated list and Timatic-based sources (Sherpa) confirm Indonesians must apply through a Kuwaiti embassy or consulate for a tourist (visit) visa. In practice most Kuwait short-visit visas require a Kuwaiti sponsor (host, relative, employer, or a licensed travel agency/hotel) who lodges the application with the Kuwait Ministry of Interior; the traveler then collects a visa sticker or printed authorization. Passports must be valid at least 6 months, and Kuwait refuses entry to anyone with Israeli stamps or evidence of travel to Israel. Because authoritative sources conflict only on the eVisa marketing claims and the official channel cannot be confirmed as visa-free or eVisa for Indonesia, the conservative and correct verdict is visa-required (embassy/sponsored visit visa).
