🇮🇩印度尼西亚(Indonesia)🇰🇪肯尼亚(Kenya)ID-KE 印度尼西亚(Indonesia) 前往 肯尼亚(Kenya) 签证要求
Indonesian ordinary passport holders need an approved Kenya Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) before boarding a flight to Kenya. There is no visa-free or visa-on-arrival channel for Indonesian citizens, and the Indonesia-Kenya visa-waiver agreement signed in 2023 is not yet in force. Since 1 January 2024, Kenya abolished traditional visas and now requires an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) for most foreign visitors, including Indonesian citizens. The eTA is applied for fully online at the official portal etakenya.go.ke before travel and must be approved before boarding. Indonesia is not covered by the African visa-free exemption (expanded in 2025 for African nationals except Libya and Somalia) because Indonesia is an Asian country. A bilateral visa-exemption agreement between Indonesia and Kenya was signed on 21 August 2023 but has not yet entered into force, so as of 2026 Indonesian travelers must still obtain an eTA. The eTA carries a USD 30 government fee, permits a single entry with a stay of up to 90 days, and is valid for travel within 90 days of issuance. Approval typically takes 24 to 72 hours, but applicants should apply at least 3 working days before departure.
