🇮🇩印度尼西亚(Indonesia)🇧🇯贝宁(Benin)ID-BJ 印度尼西亚(Indonesia) 前往 贝宁(Benin) 签证要求
Indonesian ordinary passport holders need a Benin eVisa for tourism. Benin cancelled Indonesia's visa exemption in March 2023, so an eVisa must now be obtained online before travel via the official government portal (evisa.bj). A yellow fever vaccination certificate is mandatory on arrival. As of 2026-05-31, an Indonesia (ID) ordinary passport holder traveling to Benin (BJ) for a short tourist stay requires a Benin eVisa. Benin had briefly granted Indonesian nationals visa-free entry (added September 2020) but cancelled that exemption in March 2023; many third-party sites still incorrectly list Indonesia as visa-free, but Benin's official policy and Wikipedia's nationality-specific listing both confirm eVisa status. The eVisa is applied for online before travel through the official Government of Benin portal (evisa.bj, operated by the Direction de l'Émigration et de l'Immigration). Three eVisa products exist: 30-day single entry (50 EUR), 30-day multiple entry (75 EUR), and 90-day multiple entry (100 EUR). Standard processing is roughly 48-96 hours; applications should be lodged at least 7 days before arrival. A valid passport (recommended 6 months validity), a recent photo, and proof of onward/return travel and accommodation are needed. Crucially, Benin is a yellow fever endemic country and requires a valid International Certificate of Vaccination (yellow fever) for all arriving travelers. Benin is in West Africa and is NOT part of the Schengen area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply. Be conservative: travelers should not rely on outdated visa-free claims and should obtain the eVisa before departure.
