HK ordinary passport holders need a Togo eVisa for tourism. Apply online at the official platform voyage.gouv.tg before travel. Togo no longer issues visa on arrival. Hong Kong SAR ordinary passport holders are not on Togo's visa-exempt list (which covers ECOWAS states and certain African Union members), so a visa is required for a short tourist visit. Since the 2024-2025 rollout of Togo's national travel platform, visa on arrival has been discontinued and all eligible travelers must apply for an electronic visa (eVisa) in advance through the official government portal voyage.gouv.tg. The tourist eVisa is granted for stays from 1-15 days up to 31-90 days, single or multiple entry, with fees in West African CFA francs (XOF). Processing takes up to 5 working days, and applicants are advised to apply at least 5-6 working days before arrival. A separate mandatory step: every traveler must also complete the online immigration declaration form no later than 24 hours before arrival, and a valid Yellow Fever vaccination certificate is compulsory for all arrivals regardless of origin.
