For non-African nationals (which includes Hong Kong), a single-entry tourist eVisa costs USD 260 under standard processing (3-5 business days), with paid faster tiers available (48-hour priority USD 338, 5-hour express USD 442). Multiple-entry options are also offered at higher fees. The eVisa is generally valid for up to 90 days from issuance for a single entry, with the actual length of stay set by the immigration officer at the port of entry (commonly up to 60 days for tourists). Applicants complete the online form, upload a passport bio-page, a recent passport photo and supporting documents (return ticket, accommodation, funds, yellow fever certificate), pay online, and receive an approved eVisa by email to print and present at entry. Because Ghana has shifted to mandatory online processing and Hong Kong is not visa-exempt, the conservative and correct verdict for a short tourist stay is eVisa. Travelers should confirm current eligibility and fees on the official portal before booking, as the system is newly rolled out.
