Do Hong Kong passport holders need a visa to visit DO?

Hong Kong SAR passport holders do NOT need a visa for tourism in the Dominican Republic. You enter visa-free for up to 30 days under the tourist-card system; the US$10 tourist-card fee is bundled into your airfare. You must complete the free online E-Ticket (with QR code) before arrival and departure. A holder of an ordinary Hong Kong SAR passport can travel to the Dominican Republic for tourism without a visa. The Dominican Republic admits HKSAR passport holders under its tourist-card regime: no visa is applied for in advance, and on arrival you are admitted for tourism for up to 30 days (the Hong Kong Immigration Department lists the permitted stay as 31 days). Since 2018 the US$10 tourist card is no longer bought separately at the airport for air travelers; its cost is built into the airfare of tickets issued outside the Dominican Republic. The single mandatory administrative step is the free electronic entry/exit form (E-Ticket) at eticket.migracion.gob.do, which generates a QR code you present at check-in and at immigration; the same form is used again when you leave. Passports should generally be valid for at least six months (a temporary waiver of the six-month rule applies to certain Western nationalities through 31 December 2026, but HK is not on that list, so keep six months validity). A round-trip ticket, an address for your stay, and proof of sufficient funds may be requested. Stays can be extended in-country up to 120 days for a fee, paid before departure or at the airport. There is no Schengen relevance — the Dominican Republic is a Caribbean nation and not part of the Schengen area, so no ETIAS applies. The verdict is firmly visa-free for short tourist visits.
