Do Hong Kong passport holders need a visa to visit AM?

No visa needed. HKSAR ordinary passport holders can enter Armenia visa-free for tourism and stay up to 180 days within a one-year period. Hong Kong SAR ordinary passport holders enjoy visa-free entry to Armenia for short tourist visits.
