Do United Kingdom passport holders need a visa to visit TG?
UK ordinary passport holders need an eVisa to visit Togo. Apply online at the official voyage.gouv.tg platform before you travel; visas are no longer issued on arrival. A single-entry tourist eVisa costs 25,000 CFA francs (about GBP 33) and allows a stay of 15 days. A yellow fever vaccination certificate is mandatory for all travelers. As of May 2026, British (GB ordinary) passport holders cannot enter Togo without a visa and cannot obtain one at the border. Togo replaced its former visa-on-arrival system with a fully online eVisa, applied for through the government platform at voyage.gouv.tg. UK travelers must complete the application, pay online (Visa/Mastercard, TMoney or Flooz), and receive approval before departure. The standard single-entry tourist eVisa is valid for a 15-day stay and costs 25,000 CFA francs; multiple-entry (15 days) is 35,000 CFA and a 90-day multiple-entry option is 65,000 CFA. Processing takes up to 5 business days, and applications should be filed at least 6 business days before arrival. Every traveler, including transit passengers, must also complete the online immigration/entry and exit declaration on the same platform. A yellow fever vaccination certificate is compulsory for all arrivals regardless of origin country, and the passport should be valid for at least 3 months beyond the planned departure date.
