🇬🇧英国(United Kingdom)🇸🇩苏丹(Sudan)GB-SD 英国(United Kingdom) 前往 苏丹(Sudan) 签证要求
Yes, a UK ordinary passport holder needs a visa to enter Sudan. There is no visa-free or visa-on-arrival option. You must obtain an ordinary (tourist) visa in advance from the Sudanese Embassy in London. Note: the UK FCDO advises against all travel to Sudan due to armed conflict, so a tourist visit is, in practice, not currently advisable. British citizens require a visa to travel to Sudan; there are no visa-free entries, no eVisa channel, and no visa-on-arrival. The visa must be secured before travel through the Embassy of the Republic of Sudan in London (or a Sudanese embassy in the country you are travelling from). For applicants without Sudanese heritage, a sponsor in Sudan must first obtain an entry permit number from the Ministry of Interior's Aliens Department in Khartoum; the visa is then applied for at the embassy, with personal submission required for tourist/ordinary visas. The passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the date of arrival, a yellow fever vaccination certificate is required, and passports containing Israeli stamps or visas will be refused entry. After arrival travellers must register with the Aliens Department within 3 days, and single-entry visa holders may need an exit visa to depart. Critically, the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office advises against all travel to Sudan because of ongoing military conflict, violent crime, terrorism and kidnapping risk, and the British Embassy in Khartoum is closed with consular support severely limited. This guidance is verified against GOV.UK travel advice and the Sudanese Embassy in London as of 30 May 2026.
