🇬🇧英国(United Kingdom)🇲🇿莫桑比克(Mozambique)GB-MZ 英国(United Kingdom) 前往 莫桑比克(Mozambique) 签证要求
UK ordinary passport holders do not need a traditional visa for short tourism in Mozambique, but since 2025 they must obtain an Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) online before travel for stays of up to 30 days. Mozambique grants British (GB ordinary passport) travellers a unilateral short-stay visa exemption for tourism and business of up to 30 days (extendable once by a further 30 days inside the country with justification). However, this is no longer a simple "turn up and enter" arrangement. Following the rollout of an online entry system, visa-exempt nationals - including UK citizens - must register and obtain an Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) before boarding. The UK Foreign Office and the Mozambique High Commission in London both state that you should apply for the ETA at least 48 hours before departure through the official portal at evisa.gov.mz. On 11 February 2026 Mozambique relaunched its unified eVisa/ETA platform with VFS Global support, and approved applicants receive a pre-authorisation letter with a barcode that must be printed and shown at the border. Fee reporting is inconsistent across sources: some report an online ETA processing charge of around USD 48, while official/embassy-linked guidance references a 650 MZN (roughly USD 10) administrative fee, in some cases collected on arrival. Because of this, travellers should treat fees as variable and confirm the exact amount on the official portal at the time of application. Passports must be valid for at least 6 months beyond arrival with at least 2 blank pages, and border officials may ask for proof of accommodation (or an invitation) and a return/onward ticket. Mozambique is not in the Schengen area, so Schengen 90/180 and ETIAS rules do not apply.
