A passport showing any prior travel to Israel is barred entry entirely. Separately, the FCDO advises against all travel to most of Libya (including Tripoli) and against all-but-essential travel to Benghazi and Misrata as of 2026, which makes leisure tourism highly impractical. Travellers should treat Libya as a sponsor-based, advance-visa destination and confirm requirements directly with the Libyan Embassy in London before booking.
