🇬🇧英国(United Kingdom)🇱🇷利比里亚(Liberia)GB-LR 英国(United Kingdom) 前往 利比里亚(Liberia) 签证要求
UK ordinary passport holders need a visa before travelling to Liberia. You must apply in person or by post through the Embassy of Liberia in London, not the online portal, because Liberia's rule requires nationals of countries with a Liberian embassy to apply at that embassy. A single-entry tourist visa costs about GBP 75 (regular) and a yellow fever vaccination certificate is mandatory. A British citizen holding an ordinary passport requires a visa to enter Liberia for tourism or a short visit. Liberia launched an online Visa on Arrival / eVisa portal (visaonarrival.lis.gov.lr) in March 2025, but that portal is only for travellers whose country has NO Liberian embassy. Because the Embassy of the Republic of Liberia operates in London, UK passport holders are required to apply for their visa directly at the embassy and cannot use the online channel. The standard single-entry visa is issued by the Embassy of Liberia in London (23 Fitzroy Square). The embassy fee is approximately GBP 75 for regular processing and GBP 80 for expedited processing for a single entry. A yellow fever vaccination certificate is a mandatory part of the application and is checked on arrival. The passport must have at least six months validity remaining at the time of application and proof of onward travel is required. Liberia is in West Africa and is not part of the Schengen area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply. Once in Liberia, the visa can be extended for up to 60 days at the immigration office in Monrovia (about USD 25). Travellers should always confirm current fees and document lists directly with the embassy before applying, as fees and processing times can change.
