A December 2023 expansion allows visa-exempt travellers to also conduct certain business activities, but anyone travelling for work, study, longer stays, or paid employment still needs a visa obtained in advance. Entry conditions include a passport valid for at least 6 months beyond arrival with at least 2 blank pages, a mandatory yellow fever vaccination certificate (for travellers aged 9 months and older), and customarily proof of onward/return travel, accommodation, and sufficient funds. There is no visa fee for the visa-free tourist entry. An optional eVisa route also exists for those who prefer it or need longer/non-tourism stays, but it is not required for a standard short tourist trip.
