No prior application, eVisa, electronic travel authorisation, or visa-on-arrival is needed. Note that a separate temporary measure announced in early 2026 (a waiver covering residence-permit holders of 113 countries, valid 1 January to 1 July 2026) has been widely but inaccurately reported as the source of the UK's visa-free access; in fact UK citizens already held standalone 180-day visa-free rights independent of that scheme, so the July 2026 expiry does not affect British travellers. Your passport should be valid for the duration of your stay; carry proof of onward travel and accommodation. Armenia is not in the Schengen Area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply. To remain beyond 180 days you must apply for an extension or residence status through the Armenian passport and visa authority (OVIR).
