Do France passport holders need a visa to visit RS?
No visa needed. French ordinary passport holders can enter Serbia visa-free for tourism and stay up to 90 days within any 180-day (6-month) period. France (FR) ordinary passport holders do not need a visa to visit Serbia (RS) for tourism or short business. Under Serbia's visa policy, French nationals may enter, transit and stay visa-free for up to 90 days within any 6-month (180-day) period, counted from the date of first entry. Serbia is NOT part of the European Union or the Schengen Area, so the EU/Schengen 90/180 rule and the ETIAS travel authorisation do NOT apply to entering Serbia. The passport must be valid for at least 90 days beyond the intended date of departure, contain at least two consecutive blank pages, and have been issued within the previous 10 years. French citizens may also enter using a valid national ID card. There is no entry fee or pre-travel authorisation. Travelers must register their stay (the "white card") with the police within 24 hours of arrival; hotels and other commercial accommodation do this automatically, but those staying in private accommodation must register themselves. Visitors should be able to show proof of onward/return travel and sufficient funds if asked at the border. This verdict was verified against the Serbian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which states ordinary passport holders need "no visas for visits of up to 90 days in a 6 months period."
