🇫🇮芬兰(Finland)🇸🇰斯洛伐克(Slovakia)FI-SK 芬兰(Finland) 前往 斯洛伐克(Slovakia) 签证要求
No. Finnish citizens do not need a visa to visit Slovakia. As nationals of an EU member state, they enjoy full freedom of movement and can enter, stay, work, and live in Slovakia with just a valid passport or national ID card. Finland and Slovakia are both members of the European Union and the Schengen Area. A Finnish ordinary passport holder travels to Slovakia under EU freedom of movement (Directive 2004/38/EC), not as a visa-exempt third-country tourist. This means there is no visa requirement, no ETIAS requirement, and no 90/180-day Schengen short-stay limit applies to them. A Finnish citizen may enter Slovakia using either a valid Finnish passport or a valid Finnish national identity card; the document must be valid on the day of travel. Because both countries are inside the Schengen Area, there are normally no systematic checks at internal borders, although Slovakia (like any Schengen state) may temporarily reintroduce border controls for public-policy or security reasons, in which case travellers must be able to present a valid travel document. The Entry/Exit System (EES, fully operational since April 2026) and the upcoming ETIAS travel authorisation apply only to non-EU nationals and do not affect Finnish citizens. For stays longer than three months, a Finnish citizen only needs to register their residence with the local Slovak authorities; no visa or residence permit is involved.
